The transmission is the backbone of your 2013?2018 Dodge Ram 6.7L Cummins. It's responsible for transmitting up to 930 lb-ft of torque from the engine to the wheels. That much power generates a lot of heat and if that heat isn?t dissipated it can destroy your transmission. The transmission cooler does a good job of keeping transmission fluid temperatures in check, but only if the fluid can reach it. The stock cooling system of both the 68-RFE and Aisin AS69RC utilize an in-line thermal bypass valve that controls the flow of fluid to the transmission cooler. The purpose of this valve is to prevent transmission fluid from flowing to the cooler until it reaches operating temperature. The thermostat inside this valve is prone to failure, however, and when that happens, the fluid never flows to the cooler and the transmission can overheat. That?s why Mishimoto has developed an improved thermal bypass valve kit for your 2013?2018 Dodge Ram 6.7L Cummins. Our CNC-machined aluminum thermal bypass valve not only looks better than the stock unit, but it performs better too. The Mishimoto thermal bypass valve utilizes a replaceable thermostat that is more durable than the stock thermostat and opens about 10 F earlier. This allows fluid to flow to the cooler sooner, without over cooling. For owners in hot climates, the Mishimoto valve includes a bypass that allows full flow to the transmission cooler, regardless of temperature. The bypass can be easily swapped out with only a wrench for summer or winter driving. The Mishimoto thermal bypass valve flows better in both configurations than the stock valve for more effective cooling. Cooling fins machined into the valve body add even more heat dissipation. Where do you ship to?
Currently we only ship Domestically in the U.S.A to all U.S. Addresses which include all 50 states and regions. We do not currently ship internationally.
How long do orders take to ship?
We are typically very quick and have a 24-48 hour turnaround time (this applies to products we have readily available at the warehouse and not a product that requires special order). Transit time depends on your order and which warehouse we are shipping from, but typical transit times are between 5-7 business days from one side of the US to the other. Larger items like bumpers and exterior conversions can take up to 10 business days to get you from time of shipment.
What's your domestic shipping policy?
All domestic orders will be shipped to the verified billing address associated with the customer’s credit card. In the event that the products need to be shipped to another address, CMBUILDZ will verify the transaction with the customer by requesting a screenshot of our transaction on the customers online banking portal. Similar to how PayPal verifies orders, CMBUILDZ has implemented an authorization program that will display a unique code on the credit card transaction next to where the “CMBUILDZ” name appears. Other means of verification may also be required depending on the situation. We thank you in advanced for your cooperation.
What's your policy on advertised pricing?
All prices are subject to change without notice. In the event that an incorrect price is listed or advertised, CMBUILDZ reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders at the incorrect price.
Returns might be subject to a restocking fee
A 20% restocking fee may be applicable on all authorized returns, canceled orders (special or otherwise, shipped or unshipped) in addition to any original shipping fees.
